Learn, cook and eat with Madrid’s best chefs
Madrid is famous for the number of quality restaurants and tapas bars with the best in huge demand despite the long lasting crisis. Chefs like Paco Roncero of Casin de Madrid, Diego Guerrero of Diverxo, and Ramon Freixa all have waiting lists to get into their restaurants and full press agendas and public appearances at gourmet trade shows. So getting access one to one is virtually unheard of.
Learning how to cook like a Michelin chef is the dream of many foodies. The food boom is Spain has given rise to dozens and dozens of cooking schools all across Spain and Madrid is no different. Although there are several excellent places to learn the tricks of the trade I know of only one place this spring that has a line up culinary professors like no other, The Kitchen Club Madrid. Imagine getting to learn how to prepare dishes from their creators and then sit down and break bread with them.
To celebrate their fourth year on Calle Ballesta in Madrid’s hip Tribal neighborhood, the Kitchen Club is featuring one off cooking classes with the best chefs in town. Contemporary three star Diego Guerrero to the Madrileño classics of Juano López of La Tasquita Enfrente. The classes include learning 3 to 5 plates and of course dinner afterwards with Chef. A maximum of 15 people per course. The series starts on April 7th with Paco Roncero from Casino de Madrid and continue through the end of June.
Truly a unique experience not to be missed!
