Official holidays in Spain 2015
Here are upcoming holidays in Spain for 2015. The BOE, official state bulletin in Spain has published the eight national public holidays in Spain for 2015. These holidays are celebrated nationally so you can count on offices and many businesses being closed.
January 1st: (Thursday)
January 6th: (Epiphany, Tuesday)
April 3rd: (Good Friday)
May 1st: (Labour Day, Friday)
August 15th: (Assumption of Mary, Saturday)
October 12th (Spanish National Day, Monday)
December 8th: (Immaculate Conception, Tuesday).
December 25th: (Christmas Day, Friday)
In addition to the above dates every region has another weekday holiday during Easter usually. Often times if a holiday is on a Tuesday or Thursday that day in between the weekend will also be taken off, creating a “puente” or bridge to the weekend making it a long weekend for everyone.
